Ingredients
  • Hawaiian Rolls (12 roll pack)
  • 3 cups whole milk (OR 2 cups whole milk and 1 cup heavy cream)
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅓ brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ****************************
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup flour
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 stick cold butter
  • ****************************
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Maple Syrup
  • Pecans or Walnuts
  • Fresh Berries
Instructions
  1. Pull apart bread and break each roll in half.
  2. Lightly butter the pan and put the rolls in.
  3. Mix eggs, milk, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and pour over the bread.
  4. At this point you can either cover and store in fridge overnight, or bake right away.
  5. When you are ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Add all the ingredients for toppings in a bowl and use a pastry cutter to mix it until they've turned into little pebbles.
  7. Sprinkle the toppings over the bread and bake for 50 minutes.
  8. Top it off with syrup, nuts, and fresh strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries and enjoy this delicious dessert-breakfast! :)
